TabVault stores your tab and session data only in your own browser, on your own device. We do not upload it to a server, we do not track your browsing, and we do not sell data. There is no TabVault account and no TabVault database of your tabs.
To do its job, the TabVault extension reads the titles and URLs of tabs you choose to save, and stores your snapshots, backup history and settings in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. This data:
Exports you create (manually or, on Pro, on a schedule) are files saved to a location you choose on your own device. What you do with those files is up to you.
If you buy TabVault Pro, payment is handled by our payment processor, which acts as merchant of record. The processor collects the payment details needed to complete your purchase (such as your name, email address and payment method) under its own privacy policy. We receive a confirmation that a licence is active — we do not receive or store your full payment card details. Licence validation checks are limited to verifying that a Pro licence is valid; they do not include any of your tab or browsing data.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Any change that altered the local-only nature of the product would be announced clearly before taking effect.
